I just turned 17 a few months ago and I did a 40 yd and 1 mile run b/c some colleges ask for it when applying for D1 soccer…I can run 40yds in 4.4 seconds and 1 mile in 4min 53 sec. Is this good? How fast can professional soccer players run this?

I love soccer and I want to become a pro like my idol Ronaldinho Gaucho.I want to know these two questions.
1. How quick do pro soccer players (midfielders and forwards) need to finish a mile run.I heard they need to at least run for and hour but I don’t know how fast mph they need to run it.
2. How long are pro soccer players (midfielders and forwards) need to run on the treadmill.

I was given a dozen slow pitch softballs from a co-worker of mine for my team. I coach 5th and 6th grade girls fast pitch softball. These balls were going to be practice balls only but what is the difference in a fast pitch softball and a slow pitch softball? I want to make sure that using these balls for practice won’t cause any problems!
Professional baseball pitchers can throw 90-95 mph, and — argueably — the fastest pitches ever thrown were in the 101-103 mph range.
But how fast can the average joe (like me) throw a baseball? Someone who’s never played baseball at any level, but is reasonably athletic and coordinated. I figure I can hurl a baseball close to 60 mph on a good day. Sound reasonable?
Has anybody here who doesn’t play organized baseball ever been clocked with a radar gun? How’d you do? Anybody have any guesses for ball speed by an average joe? Other than wild guesses, I mean.
